CWIS Case Review Series: October 2022

Please join us online for a case review series presented by your chest wall injury health care colleagues, moderated by Joseph D. Forrester, MD, MSc - dedicated CWIS Education Committee member and Assistant Professor of Surgery, Department of Surgery, Stanford University & Associate Trauma Medical Director, Stanford Healthcare.

The CWIS Case Review Series provides health care professionals an opportunity to present de-identified, HIPAA-compliant patient cases that provide unique and/or illustrative educational opportunities for learning.  These practice-based cases of patients with chest wall injuries will be drawn from health care professionals at all levels of experience and from across various disciplines.

CWIS hosts the Case Review Series on a monthly basis - and each activity will include a discussion of 3 cases, approximately 10 minutes each (5 minutes of the planned case presentation and 5 minutes of audience Q&A).  The series will always be held on the last Wednesday of the month and the times will rotate to facilitate attendees in various time zones, including the following:

• October 26, 2022 at 1600 MDT: In celebration of the month of October, all cases this month will be Octogenarians or older. Join us for a discussion about those patients that may in fact be "too frail to fail"! 

• November 16, 2022 (time to be announced)

• December 28, 2022 at 1300 MST
